Backend / .Net Developer

Do you want to make a difference for consumers everyday life, worldwide?

In Lobyco we have created the customer loyalty and sales platform for the future across the global retail industry. Our app solution enables retailers to move from omni channel marketing to individually tailored communication and sales. After having spent the last 5 years refining our solution to become a natural part of life for 1,8 mill people in Demark, we now are ready for the next great leap forward. Part of this, is to build a new, agile software team in Bucharest to supplement our teams in Denmark and Ukraine. And we want you to be part of it!

Agile development of killers features in first mover and globally successful retail app

As Backend Developer you will create tangible solutions and features for our app. You will especially focus on development on two tracks: One is the next killer feature that will add e-commerce to all the other features in the app. The other is implementation of partner solutions – enable our customers to team up with partners to generate more business opportunities and cross-over customer value.

Our platform is .NET and Azure founded on microservice architecture principles and we use the most cutting-edge tech stack, tools, and practices. Your primary tasks will be to:

·    Design and develop new app features e.g. the new e-commerce solution

·    Review and evaluate technical solutions developed by your colleagues

·    Discuss and refine requirements– in close dialogue with your teammates and the Product Owner

·    Perform deployment, write tests and evaluate results

Development experience from an agile set up and solid skills within .NET/C#

As you will join a Danish Company, you must be able to thrive in a Scandinavian leadership culture. That means basically, that we have trust in you, and we really want to hear and acknowledge your ideas. Yes, at the e nd of the day it’s the manager that decides, but it’s not important who that got the idea. What’s important is that we can generate top class ideas and solutions as a TEAM. Key words are openness and honesty, curiosity, positivity and fun while being busy. Additionally, your CV comprises:

·    A couple of years development experience from an agile set up

·    Solid skills within .NET/C# and additional understanding of relational databases

·    Knowledge of and/or motivation for building skills within Azure and microservice architecture principles

·    Knowledge of and/or motivation for building skills within SOA and NoSQL databases

·    Very good English skills, written and spoken

Your new team

You will join our (rapidly) growing development team in Bucharest. Right now, we are our Manager, a Lead Engineer and a Backend Developer like yourself. We share office with our partner that develops mobile solutions, and we are 12 in total including our shared office administration wiz that will help you with all the paper work. As we are owned by Coop (Denmark’s leading consumer goods retailer) you can look forward to all the vibrant energy and passion that characterizes a start-up but not having the start-up downsides like no salary etc.
